Iana Matei, Founder & President
Our friend and partner Iana Materi founded Reaching Out Romania as the first shelter for the victims of international prostitution in the country. In this centre, victims of human trafficking are given the chance to rebuild their lives without fear.
In 2010, Iana's work received international recognition when she was designated as "European of the Year" by Reader's Digest for rescuing women from forced prostitution.
